With several indigenous and international players jumping on the bandwagon with their exciting tablet offerings, Indian consumers are spoilt for choice. We round up the best and latest Android Jelly Bean and ICS tablets that pack in voice calling support for November 2013.
Asus Fonepad 7

The new and improved Fonepad 7 sports a 7-inch LED backlit IPS capacitive multi-touch display that packs in a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, boasting of wide viewing angles and excellent daytime visibility. It runs on an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz with Hyper-Threading technology lending it enough power to run its tasks and apps smoothly.

Kobian has announced the launch of the mTAB streaQ Duo sporting a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1024x600 pixel resolution, making it a tempting offering for budget consumers. The slate runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. With a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8577 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM powering it, the tablet delivers fast and fluid performance.

The device also brings on board a 2-megapixel rear snapper, VGA front camera for video calls, 8GB of internal storage and support for expandable memory up to 32GB. Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS take care of sturdy connectivity and a 3,100 mAh battery powers the device, offering sufficient backup.

Swipe Halo Value+

Swipe Telecom has launched Halo Value+, the sequel to Halo Value launched in March, with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display boasting of a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is fueled by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Stuffed with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB/1GB of RAM for smooth performance, it offers 4GB of native storage which can be expanded externally up to 32GB.

The tablet brings on board a 2-megapixel camera at its back accompanied by a 0.3-megapixel snapper on the front. Connectivity is taken care of by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and 2G for voice calling and a solid 3,000 mAh battery delivers enough juice for the tablet to last a day on a single charge.

iBall Slide 3G 8072

Lava has launched the E-Tab Ivory, a new tablet with voice calling support in the E-Tab range with dual SIM support. It has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display boasting of a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8377 processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

On the imaging front, the tablet features a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity is offered by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G and a 2,800 mAh battery takes care of powering the device.

Micromax Funbook Mini P410

This Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered tablet packs in an impressive list of specs including a 7-inch Android capacitive display equipped with a 1024x600 pixel resolution and a dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.

Offering Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity, the device houses 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to 32GB via a micro SD card. Domo recently unwrapped its new quad-core calling tablet called Slate X3G 4th boasting of a 7-inch LCD 5 point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It is fueled by a 1GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor that is supported by 1GB of RAM.

Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the tablet features 8GB of native storage which can be expanded up to 64GB using a micro SD card. It houses a 5-megapixel rear shooter and a 3-megapixel front-facer. On the connectivity front, the calling tablet packs in features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB, HDMI port and 3G.
